About the President and Founder
Eugene Duynstee

Combining in-depth industry experience with solid financial expertise.
Eugene is an accomplished senior executive with over 25 years of experience in the retail and consumer goods industry.
Although he began his career with an audit firm he quickly realized that he wasn’t content to merely report results, instead he wanted to drive them.
Eugene spent the next 17 years with leading retail organizations, both public and private, in a variety of senior positions, including Chief Financial Officer, Unit President and numerous Senior Vice President roles.
Complementing his industry experience, Eugene spent 3 years with a large international consulting firm spearheading major projects.
Subsequently he founded his own practice and has continued to make a significant impact on the profitability and success of a variety of businesses.
Eugene’s key strengths include strategic thinking, financial acumen and problem solving, with a focus on teamwork, execution and results. Underlying his ability to see the ‘big picture’ is an acute awareness of the individual parts and how they link together to produce the whole. Analysis and numbers have always come naturally to Eugene. For him the numbers tell the story and in very short order he can see what makes the business tick. His skill in solving problems is underscored by his knack for taking the complex, and reducing it to the simple.
For clients who operate smaller businesses, Eugene brings a unique offering. As a senior executive overseeing retail store operations, both corporate owned and franchised, he was effectively running a series of small businesses. Eugene gained considerable insight into all aspects of the operation from the ground up and at the same time knows how all the pieces fit together. With a hands-on approach and a passion for helping people succeed, he strives to equip business owners with the right tools to move forward confidently.
